Inspiration from the Ocean
The Oily Calm Collection was born from the serene days I’ve spent on the ocean, particularly those calm moments where “you only see small gentle folds on the ocean as you stream through the water.” These are the moments that have deeply influenced my life and work. The calmness of the sea, its vast expanse, and its gentle movements have always been a source of inspiration for me. It’s these peaceful scenes that I wanted to capture in a collection that reflects both the beauty of nature and the elegance of fine jewellery.
The Connection to My Journey
Growing up on the Abrolhos Islands and becoming a pearl farmer has been an incredible journey. The Abrolhos Islands, with their pristine waters and untouched beauty, are where our pearls are nurtured and harvested. Each pearl is a testament to the pure, untouched quality of the environment, and they are meticulously hand-selected for their natural radiance and unique character. As a pearl farmer, I have a deep connection to these pearls and the sea that nurtures them.

The Oily Calm Collection is crafted in our Geraldton studio by expert jewellers who share my passion for quality and elegance. Each piece is made from solid metal with carved designs that echo the ocean’s stillness. We incorporate treasures of the sea, including precious gems, sparkling diamonds, and our unique Australian Abrolhos Island Black Pearls. Each piece is designed to be timeless, capturing the essence of serene ocean days and the stories they tell.
